Daniel Reeve is a Partner at Blackwall Ventures with over 25 years of experience in the real estate development industry, having been involved in the development and construction of numerous hospitality, civic, high-rise residential, civic, class-A office, master-planned and multifamily projects across Utah, Colorado, Arizona, California, Texas, and Nevada. He also has deep expertise in land acquisition and entitlements across both commercial and residential arenas.

Dan has led land acquisition, entitlement and development efforts for two national top 10, Fortune 500 homebuilder divisions, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and securing residential land across the state of Utah. He has also served as Vice President of Land and Development for a prominent real-estate developer in the Utah market, specializing in commercial, multi-family, hospitality and residential developments, including responsibility for all land acquisition and entitlements for the company, along with senior strategic leadership for new projects and markets. Over the course of his career, he has purchased over 4,000 residential lots on over 1,000 acres of residential land, as well as sourced and performed extensive due diligence on over 10,000 acres of land across Utah, Arizona and California.  

Early on, Dan began his career at a large regional general contracting firm, functioning as project manager for several large commercial projects in Utah and the Phoenix market. He then continued his career as Sr. Vice President at a boutique development and consulting group in Orange County, California, assisting with the development and management of several dozen mixed-use high-rise, mid-rise and hospitality projects across the Western U.S.

Dan also served as Board Chairman for 5 years on the Utah Land Use and Eminent Domain Advisory Board, a position appointed by the Governor of Utah. He is a licensed real estate agent and holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University.
